How it works

Ordering, pricing, and service levels in writing.

What a clinic sends, how it is filled, what it costs, who owns the account, and how fast it ships. If you want a detail that isn't here, ask and we'll publish it.

1. Ordering

Order the way that fits your practice today, and change it as you grow.

  • Order direct or integrate. Send orders through each partner pharmacy's portal, or integrate your systems directly with the pharmacy. We work with you at every step to build the setup that fits your workflow.
  • Send prescriptions straight to partner pharmacies. Prescriptions go directly to the pharmacies we partner with. Nothing routes through an extra layer.
  • A point of contact to triage. If an order needs to be chased, corrected, or replaced, you have a named contact who handles it.
  • Client portal. Receive and track prescription information from partner pharmacies in one place.
  • No commitments. Order as much or as often as you like. Our contracts carry no volume minimums and no time commitments.

2. Pricing

What you pay, how it is set, and what is included.

Negotiated per partner
Rates are negotiated with each pharmacy on your behalf, against what you pay today.
Net-30 terms
Standard payment terms across the network.
No membership or joining fees
The price you see is the price you get.
All-inclusive
Medication, supplies, dispensing fees, and shipping.
  • We only bring you better pricing. We negotiate on your behalf and introduce a pharmacy only when its pricing beats what you already receive.
  • Bundled volume works in your favor. The network's combined volume earns pricing a single practice cannot command alone, and we pass those savings through to you.
  • Send an invoice, save 15% or more. Send a current invoice and we will show you the same order priced through the network.

Pricing depends on product category, volume, and the partner filling the order. Final rates are confirmed in your agreement before you place a first order.

3. Communication and accountability

Who owns your account, and who answers when something slips.

  • Dedicated account managers at each pharmacy. Every partner assigns a named account manager to your practice.
  • A single point of contact at Banyan. One contact across every pharmacy you use, so you are not managing relationships one by one.
  • Proactive reporting. You receive reporting on your orders and fulfillment rather than having to request it.
  • Department heads own the SLAs. Banyan department heads track partner performance against agreed service levels and raise problems with the pharmacy before they reach you.

4. Service levels and turnaround

The standards we hold partner pharmacies to.

Same day
Prescriptions received by 1:00 pm local time ship the same day.
99%
of prescriptions ship the same day they are received.
Built-in redundancy
Multiple partners qualified per product category, so shortages and backlogs do not stop your orders.

If a partner misses the standard, your Banyan contact moves the order to another qualified pharmacy in the network rather than leaving you to wait.

5. Onboarding and getting started

From first invoice to first order.
