The Model

The GPO model.

A Group Purchasing Organization aggregates the buying power of many independent clinics and negotiates pricing on their behalf. Instead of each clinic approaching compounding pharmacies individually — often with limited leverage — Banyan sits between member clinics and a vetted network of licensed 503A and 503B compounders, securing volume-based pricing that would be impossible to get alone.

Banyan handles the supplier relationships, credentialing, compliance, and fulfillment routing. When you place an order, we route it to the appropriate compounder based on product type, order mode, and availability. You never need to manage pharmacy accounts, chase down COAs, or negotiate pricing renewals.

The result is a single point of access for compounded medications at pricing that reflects collective volume — without any of the administrative overhead. You order, we handle the rest, and the invoice shows up net-30 with a clean line-item breakdown.

Onboarding

Getting started.

From application to your first order, the onboarding process takes 3-5 business days.

Place Your First Order

Choose bulk stock for your clinic inventory or patient-specific orders with direct-to-patient fulfillment.

4

Pay Net-30

Invoice lands on ship date. ACH or card. 30 days to pay.

Order Types

Two ways to order.

503B

For Clinic Inventory (For In Office Use)

  • For clinic inventory
  • From FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities
  • Ships to your clinic
  • Volume pricing applies
Example: A wellness clinic orders 20 vials of B12 for injection. The order is routed to an FDA-registered 503B facility, ships within 3 days, and arrives at the clinic. The invoice appears net-30. Their monthly statement logs the margin vs. their previous supplier.
503A

Patient-Specific Orders

  • Individual prescriptions
  • From licensed 503A compounding pharmacies
  • Direct-to-patient or ship-to-clinic
Example: A weight loss clinic prescribes semaglutide for a patient. The prescription is routed to a licensed 503A pharmacy, where the order is filled and shipped cold-chain directly to the patient's door. The clinic is invoiced net-30 — no patient billing coordination needed.
